Adhesives

Adhesive Options for Nameplates and Labels

Adhesives provide a reliable method for mounting nameplates and labels without the need for holes, screws, or rivets. A variety of adhesive options are available, each designed to meet specific bonding requirements based on surface type, environmental conditions, and durability needs.

Proper surface preparation is essential for achieving strong adhesion. Surfaces should be clean, smooth, and at room temperature. Dirt, grease, dust, or moisture can interfere with bonding and reduce overall performance.

467MP (.002" thick)

Adhesive Family No. 200MP. High-performance adhesive with excellent peel strength on metal and high surface energy materials. Offers strong long-term aging performance, up to 400°F short-term heat resistance, and moderate solvent resistance.

468MP (.005" thick)

Adhesive Family No. 200MP. A thicker version of 467MP, designed for improved adhesion to textured or slightly uneven surfaces.

7966MWS (.009" thick)

Adhesive Family No. 200MP. Double-coated white adhesive with excellent resistance to temperature, chemicals, and UV exposure. High shear strength and designed to improve opacity for light-colored labels.

9453 (.0035" thick)

Adhesive Family No. 300LSE. High-strength modified acrylic adhesive designed for bonding to low surface energy plastics and powder-coated surfaces. Offers up to 300°F short-term heat resistance.

9445 (.005" thick)

Adhesive Family No. 350. High-holding adhesive with improved temperature and solvent resistance. Provides strong bonding to low surface energy materials with short-term heat resistance up to 450°F.

950 (.005" thick)

Adhesive Family No. 300. High-strength acrylic adhesive similar to 9453, but thicker for better performance on textured surfaces.

Foam (.032" thick, black)

Designed for very rough or uneven surfaces. This cross-linked, closed-cell polyolefin foam adhesive provides strong bonding and accommodates surface irregularities. Offers up to 175°F short-term heat resistance.
